Ross M. Leibovitz, MD, FACS
Overview
Dr. Leibovitz is a board-certified general surgeon with extensive experience in vascular, thoracic (chest) and general procedures. He has been treating patients for more than 35 years.
Dr. Leibovitz is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the Boulder County Medical Society and Colorado Medical Society.
His specialties include robotic and breast surgery.
Education and Training
Dr. Leibovitz received his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. His medical degree is from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. He completed surgical residencies at both the University of Colorado and the University of Nebraska.
Awards and Recognition
Dr. Leibovitz received a Humanitarian Award from Avista Hospital in 2001 and was named a Colorado Community Health Champion in 2003 by the Colorado Community Health Network. In 2020, he was named the Physician of the Year by Avista Adventist Hospital.
Personal Interests
Dr. Leibovitz is married with three children and has eight grandchildren. His hobbies include table tennis, skiing, and classical piano.
